Svg Map

DESCRIPTION:

A guiding map for a group project. This is an image I made using Adobe Illustrator. A vector base work with a hand-drawing style filled with tons of information. I separated the layers with different information to ensure the information could be shown individually on Google Maps with the website our team created. My roles in the project are project leader and graphic designer.

WORK EXPLANATION:

This is a website requirement assignment that requires us to create an interactive project that supplies general information to an appropriate audience that you define.

The map should be non-linear and be delivered as a website (or mobile application).

Our website needs the map accurate enough to let the picture perfectly fit on Google Maps, so there is a bunch of research piece requirement before I start drawing the picture.

I went to the location and followed the tail, taking pictures, and collecting location information. I marked all the road information like types, difficulties, and facilities information. Then with that information in mind, draw out the final.
